This vibrant Hindi and Gujarati wedding at Hayes Mansion in San Jose was a beautiful fusion of tradition, family and celebration. Although the festivities began with Mehndi and a Pre-Wedding Welcome Dinner, I had the honor of capturing their wedding day.
The morning began with the bride getting ready in her stunning sari, followed by a private first look. After portraits around the elegant grounds, guests gathered for one of the most unforgettable moments — the Baraat. The groom made a grand entrance in a blue Ferrari convertible, surrounded by music, dancing and joyful celebration. The bride’s family formally welcomed him and his loved ones before the ceremony began. Honoring both Hindi and Gujarati traditions, the ceremony included worship of Lord Ganesh, multiple blessings and the exchange of garlands. Their dog even made a special appearance dressed in traditional attire. While their pup only attended the ceremony, he was still part of the celebration at the reception in spirit, thanks to a larger-than-life cutout that kept guests smiling all night. Guests enjoyed cocktails and Indian cuisine before entering the ballroom for a lively reception filled with a grand entrance, choreographed family/bridesmaids dances, heartfelt speeches, a playful groomsman roast and nonstop dancing. A perfect blend of heritage and modern celebration — beautifully honoring tradition while creating unforgettable new memories.
